2. What this tool is
EUDR Due Diligence Statement Check is a free, static, client-side tool. It runs entirely in your browser. The check is computed locally from the values you type into the form. No user accounts, no registration, no subscriptions and no paid features exist. The site does not ask you to log in and does not store a profile about you.
3. Data we process
- The values you enter into the check (headcount, turnover, commodity, HS code, country, placement date) are processed only in your browser. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party and are discarded when you close or reload the page.
- Technical request data collected automatically by the hosting CDN (Cloudflare): IP address (anonymised), User-Agent and the page requested, used solely to serve the page and keep the service available and secure.
- Email correspondence, only if you choose to write to the contact address above.
4. What we do NOT do
- We do not set tracking or advertising cookies.
- We do not run behavioural analytics or profiling.
- We do not sell or share your data, and we make no automated decisions producing legal effects within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
5. Lawful bases
- Serving the site: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR) — providing a functional, secure web service.
- Handling enquiries: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), given by writing to us.
- Legal compliance: legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
6. Retention
- Hosting technical logs: kept by Cloudflare for a short period under its default configuration (around 7 days).
- Email correspondence: up to two years after the last interaction, or as long as legally required.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time without retroactive effect. To exercise any of these rights, email legal@sellerguardrails.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line.
8. Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, https://www.aepd.es/), with your local EU data protection authority, or — for UK residents — with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO, https://ico.org.uk).

This privacy policy may be updated to reflect regulatory or operational changes. The current version is always the one published at this URL with the last-updated date shown at the top.
